Hey there! I’m Matt, and I’ve had the honor of capturing love stories for over 8 years, blending my passion for photography and videography with a love for adventure and storytelling. Based in Chicagoland, I’ve had the privilege of documenting over 300 weddings, traveling across the U.S. and internationally to help couples preserve their most meaningful moments.
My journey into photography began at the age of 19 in the most beautiful place I ever stumbled upon; The Pacific Northwest. I had this urge to share the beauty around me. And so, in 2015, I picked up a camera for the first time. I was immediately hooked.
So, why weddings? Honestly, I am a big extrovert and love the energy of weddings! Being trusted to capture the biggest moments in someone's life is something I am still humbled by even after capturing over 300 weddings. My background as a Licensed Professional Counselor also helps me to manage the stress that wedding days can bring.

• Experience and Expertise: With over 40-50 weddings a year under my belt, you can trust that I’m not just here to document your day but to enhance it with calm professionalism and creativity that derives both from my background as a therapist and as a very seasoned photographer.
• Photo + Video Services: My team and I offer both photo & video packages so you can enjoy authentic storytelling from start to finish.
• Involvement From Start to Finish: I am involved on and before the wedding day! You won't see me stumbling over how to pose, you won't see me lack assertion, but you also won't see me trying to make the day about me. I constantly check in to see if you want more photos or feel photo'd-out and desire to mingle with guests. I also provide questionnaires, timeline templates, and more to help best prepare for your day.​
• Unique Presets (Edits): Most photographers use presets that they buy. In 2020, when the wedding season took a hit, I used all of that time to develop my own colors for weddings. I believe they showcase a unique style that is hard to find elsewhere.
• A Spirit of Adventure and Calm: Whether your wedding is in a grand Chicago venue, a backyard, or halfway across the world, I’ll be there to capture YOUR story.
